KAIKOURA WHALE WATCH (SOUTH ISLAND)
Fly by helicopter across Cook Strait and follow the coast south to the town of Kaikoura. Off the coast lies a marine environment so abundant with life it attracts some of the planet’s most magnificent sea mammals.
Get up close up on board a specially designed ‘Whale Watch’ Vessel. Have your camera ready for the Sperm Whales, but also for migratory Humpback Whales (June and July), Orca (summer months), New Zealand’s own tiny Hectors dolphin, the high spirited displays of the Dusky dolphins, New Zealand Fur seals and the Royal Albatross.
